Facilitated a team development process involving management and staff. Outcomes included systems re-development, development of job descriptions, human resource policies and procedures and conversion of derelict storage area into a revenue generator.
Hodgson Heavy Duty
Facilitated a team development where the team created new strategies to enhance workplace safety, internal systems and communications. Additional outcomes included development of a comprehensive Employee Handbook, recruitment tools, job descriptions, performance evaluation system, Health & Safety Committee and regular management meetings.
Merritt Walk of Stars Society
Facilitated a one-day board retreat to stabilize rapid organizational growth. Participants engaged in creative activities and developed strategies to enhance policy development, public relations, marketing and event planning, capital development projects and finance.
Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation
Facilitated a half-day creative development workshop designed to engage local employers and employment service providers in the creation and design of www.LiveWorkPlayProsper.com, an interactive web-based workforce development tool.
Hofstede’s Country Barn
Facilitated a Donald Trump themed workshop series called "The Apprentice". Staff competed weekly in teams to develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, team satisfaction, menu and product development, in-store design, display and ambiance, equipment, technology and marketing. In the end "Nobody was fired!" Outcomes of this process included job descriptions, recruitment tools, policies and procedures.
Leadership Skills for Fisheries Co-Management
Developed and facilitated a one-day entrepreneurial teambuilding workshop where Pacific Salmon industry leaders representing Gillnet, Seine & Troll gear types learned to effectively influence the process of change by creatively examining critical issues, identifying leadership styles and methods of harnessing group dynamics commonly associated with change.
Chilliwack Community Arts Council
Facilitated a one-day strategic planning workshop and board retreat. Participants engaged in a series of creative exercises and developed specific strategies to enhance communications, governance, funding & fundraising, operations management and facilities.
